Add your email to an Android phone
Connect an existing Google, Exchange, IMAP, or POP account from Android settings.

Connect the account
Android labels can vary slightly by device manufacturer.
Open account settings
Open Settings and select Passwords & accounts, Users & accounts, Manage accounts, or the closest account option on your device.
Choose Add account
Select Add account and choose Google, Exchange, Personal (IMAP), or Personal (POP3) to match your mailbox.
Enter the account details
Follow the on-screen prompts and enter your complete email address, password, and any approved server settings.
Complete the security check
Enter your device PIN, pattern, or password if Android asks you to confirm the account addition.
Send and receive a test
Open the mail application, send a message, and confirm that a reply reaches the device.
